    Individual & Couple Consultations

Everyone who comes to see us has a different goal and nutrition story. The difference between seeing an accredited practising Dietitian and following an online program or purchased meal plan is that we are experts at offering individualised nutritional advice that suits your lifestyle and specific goals. We are well practised at seeing clients individually or as couples for a wide range of chronic diseases such as:

    • Diabetes
    • Weight management
    • Heart disease
    • Coeliac disease
    • Eating disorders (children and adults)
    • Irritable bowel and inflammatory bowel conditions

When you see a one of our Dietitians, we will take a detailed history of your diet and lifestyle from who does the cooking to managing nutritional needs for shift workers. This allows us to provide you with nutritional recommendations that are individualised, not one-size-fits-all and create nutrition plans that are specific to obtaining positive results based on your goal, whether that be reduced blood glucose and cholesterol levels or gut symptom improvement. We keep in close communication with your GP and other health professionals to ensure your whole medical team are across your management plan to give you as much support as possible. We will also maintain close follow up with you regularly to help keep you on track and provide ongoing assistance as necessary.

Our Dietitians are all lovers of various sports and work closely with you to meet your performance goals, allowing you to reach your full potential for your chosen sport or fitness goal through the following:

    • Pre- and post-competition nutrition advice and meal plans
    • Write muscle gain and weight loss plans including body composition measurements
    • Individual advice on the use of supplements

    Food Allergies & Intolerances

Our Dietitians have undergone additional training in the area of food allergies and intolerances including the dietary management of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel conditions.

We work with you to diagnose food intolerances and symptom triggers, assist you in managing to remove these from your diet long term while still meeting your nutritional needs and in some circumstances we can help you increase your tolerance to a food.

We love working with children in our practice and know as parents how difficult it can be managing food allergies in the home and childcare settings. We are apt at providing up to date product knowledge to help you manage an allergy or intolerance long term.

It can be helpful to bring a food diary or record along to your appointment, particularly if you suspect you have a food allergy or are experiencing any kind of gut symptoms.

We are excited to continue to extend our services to child-care and after school care services providing informative nutrition presentations to childcare workers, parents and children on the importance of healthy eating and tips for fussy eaters.

We also offer feeding therapy groups, to support parents, families and kids. Our trained dietitians have developed feeding groups that not only support children to learn through food to accept a wider range of foods, improving overall nutrition at the same time as improving the eating environment for all.
