At Ingrained Nutrition, our Dietitians are dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalised nutritional care for aged care facilities. We understand that good nutrition is key to promoting overall health and well-being in older adults.

By working collaboratively with care teams and kitchen staff, we ensure that each resident receives individualised nutritional care designed to improve their health outcomes and quality of life.  We offer one-on-one dietitian assessments tailored to meet the specific needs of residents requiring ongoing dietary support.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for elderly residents by addressing their unique nutritional challenges and ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Common reasons why a Dietitian may need to see a resident in aged care can include conditions such as:

  • Malnutrition
  • Loss of appetite
  • Unintentional weight loss, or unplanned weight loss
  • Unexplained change to food intake
  • Dementia/Alzheimer Disease
  • Chronic diseases
  • Change in food preferences

What to expect from your aged care Dietitian

Our aged care services include thorough malnutrition screening, detailed resident assessments, and tailored nutrition interventions. When necessary, we also prescribe oral nutritional supplements and collaborate with care teams, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal nutrition for all residents.

Whether it’s through providing practical meal planning solutions, hands-on training, or in-depth menu reviews, our dietitians are here to enhance the nutritional health of aged care residents and empower staff to deliver the highest standards of care.
