Food allergies Dietitian for children

We love working with children in our practice. Many of our Dietitians are parents too. We know first-hand how difficult it can be managing allergies at home and in childcare settings.

Our Dietitians will provide up-to-date product knowledge to help manage allergies and intolerance long-term. We can also help make it easier to communicate your child’s needs to childcare providers. Clarity and communication so you feel confidence in supporting your child is key.

Depending on your child’s needs, we can also offer feeding therapy and other paediatric nutrition services.

What to expect from your appointment

Our intolerance and food allergies Dietitians will start by talking about your symptoms. It can be helpful to bring a food diary or record along to your appointment. This is useful if you are experiencing any kind of gut symptoms and suspect an allergy. We can use your food diary to identify possible connections between symptoms and possible triggers.

We will then work together to plan sustainable changes to your diet, based on your needs. In the long term, we can help adjust and adapt your diet for different life stages and nutritional needs. Our priority is helping you to enjoy a flexible and diverse diet within your limits.
